Compliance Analyst

The Junior Corporate Compliance Analyst will support the various elements of OSI Systems, Inc.’s (OSI’s) Ethics & Compliance Program. The Corporate Compliance Analyst will help ensure OSI’s compliance program is consistent with applicable laws, industry standards, policies and regulations applicable across all OSI divisions (Security, Medical, and Optoelectronics).

This position will be primarily remote and will report to the Corporate Compliance Director, based in the UK. Although the role is largely remote, the Corporate Compliance Analyst may be required to travel to various offices on a periodic basis for specific meetings, events, and investigations.


Role Responsibilities

  • Assist implementation and ongoing monitoring of assigned compliance-related policies and procedures.
  • Conduct and review regular risk assessments of the various company compliance programs.
  • Research of industry compliance regulations, policies and best practices.
  • Support updates to existing compliance policies and related documentation.
  • Coordinate ongoing implementation and enforcement of OSI’s Code of Ethics & Conduct
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
  • Assist in the ongoing implementation of global compliance programs related to anti-corruption, data privacy, and employee training.
  • Support the company’s ISO 37001 certification process and Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS).
  • Design and propose controls and risk assessments related to the company’s products and services from a data privacy perspective.
  • Assist in the completion of Due Diligence processes for third-party business partners.
  • Provide employee and third-party training on ethics and compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
  • Support investigation activities related to compliance and ethics matters.
  • Travel may be required (domestic and international).

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a compliance role (preferably non-financial compliance experience).
  • Prior experience coordinating and monitoring ethics and compliance-related policies and procedures.
  • Prior experience supporting compliance programs with regulations pertaining to (i) international anti-corruption regulations (such as the UK Bribery Act and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and (ii) data privacy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Due Diligence standards as they relate to third-party risks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience support implementation of compliance programmes quickly and effectively.
  • Good planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • A desire to grow within a Compliance role.
  • Proficiency in additional languages would be an asset (including German, Russian, or French).
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
