During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company's different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you – your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your career @ ZEISS.

Possible tasks within the program:

• Work to develop hardware and software prototypes 
• Explore markets, work alongside diverse teams to drive innovation 
• Gain knowledge of our solutions and customers 
• Contribute to active projects, potentially with academic partners

• Completed field of study in Photonics, Optics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering at master’s level  
• Practical experience gained, for example, as a intern or working student (maximum of 1,5 years)  
• Experience in common MS Office applications, experience in python, and machine learning advantageous 
• Excellent analytic skills, high motivation, strong team spirit 
• Flexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program  
• Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficial
