During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company's different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you – your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your career @ ZEISS.

Possible tasks within the program:

• During your assignments you learn to understand different perspectives on capacity planning within the Shared Production Unit. 
• Your rotation plan focusses on the planning processes in different areas within the Shared Production Unit and how they interrelate with each other. 
• On one hand you understand our customers` demands and you can derive scenarios for our production from them. 
• On the other hand you gain expertise in the capacity planning of equipment and personnel resources in order to be able to conduct high-level feasibility checks 
• Your rotations will be rounded off by insights in the operational production control in order for you to understand the day-to-day operations 
• Target function is within the Network Planning team where you can make essential contributions to the planning of capacity ramp ups and of flexibilities within the Shared Production Unit network

• Completed field of study in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering 
• Practical experience gained, for example, as a intern or working student in the fields of Sales, Production, Planning or Logistics (maximum of 1,5 years)  
• Experience in common MS Office applications, SAP or similar production planning software 
• Interest in challenging project tasks and associated challenges. Good communication and conflict management skills. 
• Flexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program  
• Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficial
