Do you have at least 5 years' experience in the sales function and are you fluent in English and German?

We are a European company based in Kontich (Belgium) and are looking for a candidate to support our team. As an account manager, also responsible for business development, you will be responsible for important business contacts with our international customers in Germany and Switzerland.

Your duties

- You are responsible for the region in collaboration with your sales team.

- You are responsible for sales development in the region, and spend around 30% of your time on the road (usually on multi-day trips).

- If you're not on the road, you work from home, a few visits per year for meetings in Belgium

- You create offers, contact "potential" customers and continue the sales process.

- You are jointly responsible for debtor management.

- You assist your colleagues or management in all kinds of administrative tasks.

- The customer is king: it's up to you to make sure they feel that way.

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build loyalty with relocation companies and other business introducers.

Profile

- You are a team player

- You have at least 5 years' experience

- Excellent knowledge of German (native) and English

- You are highly reactive

- Have empathy for the end customer, often stressed by moving to a new country

- You can work independently

- You are quick to type and work with computer systems

- You a interested in interiors and furniture and like to help people in furnishing their homes or real estate investments

- You are highly motivated and able to work independently
