Regional Sales Manager

Join a prominent Semiconductor manufacturer, leader in process control, inspection and advanced Metrology solutions for high-tech industries.


With this position, the team are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to strengthen the European team and access large and small accounts within Europe.


Responsibilities


  • Meet or surpass revenue objectives for their range of products within the assigned territory.
  • Foster existing client relationships through regular visits and meetings while expanding business by tapping into new accounts or exploring new areas within current accounts.
  • Grasp customer needs, offering insights to internal teams like sales management, marketing, product development, and more.
  • Lead both internal and external customer projects, overseeing negotiations across commercial, technical, and legal aspects.
  • Travel regularly to the US for sales meetings, training sessions, customer presentations, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of pipeline and forecasts using the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to devise strategic account plans for key clients, taking charge of plan execution and ensuring alignment across the global team for international accounts. This involves promoting the company´s suite of solutions to clients rather than focusing solely on individual transactions.
  • Take responsibility for managing the quotation process, with assistance and input from technical account managers, product management, application, and service teams.


Experience


  • Hold a university degree in a technical discipline coupled with relevant commercial exposure, or possess a degree in a commercial field with pertinent technical background.
  • Bring 3 to 15 years of experience in selling capital equipment within the semiconductor manufacturing sector, preferably in areas such as Metrology, and Inspection.
  • Availability to travel extensively throughout Europe.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities, adept communication skills, and a valued team-oriented mindset as well as high levels of motivation, self-reliance and exceptional organizational skills alongside a track record of successful sales endeavors.
  • Languages: Fluent or Native English and German.
