Account Manager – Life Sciences (Germany, Switzerland, Austria)


Antylia Scientific™ has a growing diverse portfolio of life sciences and diagnostic products for the pharma, biopharma, healthcare and environmental markets.


The role is home based located in Germany, with regular travel throughout the territory. Reporting to the Commercial Leader - Europe who in turn reports to the Commercial Director EMEA.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the agreed sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market share gain within the territory. Be the primary contact for customers and engage with them to ensure business and opportunities are maximised – both competitor and retention accounts.
  • Acquire and maintain up to date product knowledge and competitive information on products/prices to fulfil customer needs, and where appropriate communicate and share information to Sales and Product Management teams.
  • Feedback and effectively communicate any customer suggestions/complaints/queries via appropriate processes and procedures.
  • Attend trade shows, seminars, exhibitions, and other promotional activities on behalf of the company in Europe.
  • Take ownership for the delivery of current and future Revenue Targets and develop the region for sustainable YoY growth.


Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree Level Qualification (BSc) in a life science related science/engineer degree but will consider someone who has extensive sales skills and experience gained within sciences.
  • 3+ years’ experience in sales, business/business development or other commercial roles involving customer interface
  • Willingness and ability to travel 3-4 days a week
  • Evidenced experience of hitting and overachieving targets.
  • Fluent in English and German, French would be an advantage
