Our client develops an Industrial IoT software product, facilitating communication between machines in manufacturing for smarter factories, promoting efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability.


As a Product Marketing Manager, you will shape marketing strategies to boost sales and brand image, collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and product teams to meet market demands swiftly.


Responsibilities:

  • Improve product positioning, messaging, and brand value for the IoT product by analyzing market trends and competitor strategies.
  • Create essential product content for mid- and bottom-funnel stages to boost conversion rates and streamline the customer journey.
  • Establish thought leadership through technical and product-related activities, serving as an ambassador on social media and within IoT/user communities.
  • Coordinate release communication in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Support sales and presales with product-related materials, ensuring customers grasp the product's value.


Your profile:

  • 3-5 years in B2B technology marketing, ideally as a product marketer.
  • Technical knowledge to discuss topics like DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, SRE and digitalization of manufacturing
  • Strong grasp of market principles and best practices, with a focus on product marketing and demand generation.
  • Must-have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English (minimum C1 level), able to create tailored content for IT audiences.
  • Marketing expertise covering at least foundational knowledge of growth marketing, performance marketing, and demand generation, to set up campaigns and landing pages autonomously.

Nice to have:

  • Startup or growth company experience with a hands-on mentality.
  • Proficient in project planning and management.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, sales, and customer success.
