Field Application Engineer Automotive Sales (d/m/f)

Your Duties

Key player in the European semiconductor automotive sales team to provide technical support to our global and regional key accounts
Full responsibility to achieve design wins with our target customers
Provide technical expertise in the various design-in activities and to support our customers in their projects
Work closely with Key Account Managers and our business units on project identification and proposals to our customers
Qualifying sales opportunities with respect to the customer's technical requirements and positively positioning ams-Osram products against the competition
Summarize customer and competitive insights to support product and roadmap definition of our business units
Build successful relationships with sales team members, business units, partners and customers to support sales team objectives

Your Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering or a comparable scientific or applied science program
Several years of experience as a field application engineer in the semiconductor or opto semiconductor industry, experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
Experience with analog or mixed-signal circuit designs and/or experience with optoelectronic components and design
Communicative and team-oriented personality with an independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, as well as the ability to present and communicate technical issues well
Flexibility to deal with challenges
Willingness to travel (>30%) + hybrid work
Fluent in English and German (both verbally and in written)
