Your RoleThis full‑time position is located at our global headquarters in Holzminden, Germany. The Global Pricing Analyst – Data & Tools (m/f/d) will combine analytical skills, market insight, business acumen and expertise in data management and architecture to support pricing governance and execution.
Data Analysis and Data- Analyze historical sales data, observe pricing dynamics and market trends to develop pricing strategies.
- Support the implementation of pricing tools as key user.
- Partner with IT and other stakeholders to build the pricing data lake and required functionality.
- Create detailed reports on pricing performance and its impact on revenue and profitability.
- Support the development of pricing models that align with company objectives.
- Support pricing activities from a data perspective.
- Improve pricing‑related data quality and availability.
- Design and maintain data architecture frameworks to support product and pricing decisions.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of pricing data across systems.
- Collaborate with IT and database teams to enhance data storage, retrieval and analysis processes.
- Implement automated solutions for data management to streamline pricing operations.
- Provide forecasts and recommendations for budgeting and investment decisions.
- Assess the financial impact of pricing adjustments and recommend improvement solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in pricing analysis, data management, market research or related fields.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful projects.
- Hands‑on experience designing and maintaining data architecture for pricing and product management.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP system functionality.
- Expertise in database management tools and systems, including SQL, NoSQL and cloud‑based solutions.
- Understanding of data architecture frameworks and their application in pricing models.
- Ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
- Meticulous approach to analysing complex datasets and understanding nuances in pricing structures.
- Capability to identify challenges and develop innovative pricing solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings to stakeholders effectively.
