About JHC Consulting
JHC Consulting is a remote advisory firm whose work sits closer to judgment, review, and decision support than to routine execution. The work is often analytical in nature, but not in a purely mechanical sense. It involves examining information carefully, understanding what it supports and what it does not, and helping bring structure to material that may initially be incomplete, uneven, or difficult to interpret. We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who wants to build strong analytical habits in a setting where clarity, precision, and professional discipline matter.
About the role
The right person for this role is someone who is patient with detail, thoughtful with information, and capable of working with care without losing sight of the broader objective. This position is not a volume-based reporting function, nor is it centered on generating dashboards for appearance alone.
You will provide support for analytical tasks across various review, research, and decision-support projects. Some assignments might start with spreadsheets, raw data, or fragmented materials that require cleaning and organization before they can be used effectively. In other instances, you will be tasked with verifying if figures align, determining if assumptions are being relied upon too heavily, or checking if a summary is truly backed by the underlying material.
While this is a junior position, we do not expect you to work with less care simply because you are at the start of your career. We seek individuals who prioritize accuracy, think critically before reaching a conclusion, and recognize that high-quality analysis usually results from removing confusion rather than introducing more complexity.
