Job Title: Infrastructure Equity Manager / Associate Director

Summary of our opportunity
ICG Infra is a Core+, mid-market infrastructure fund recently launched by ICG. The strategy has raised more than €4bn across two funds. The team is currently investing Fund 2 (a fund of €, which is already invested at , and the team is growing quickly. The successor fund is expected to be raised in 1 to 2 years’ time.
As a Manager / Associate Director reporting to the fund’s manager, you will be involved in the execution, management (and progressively the sourcing together with the Head of Dach geographies for the fund) of infrastructure equity investments in German-speaking countries, as well as other European geographies. The role will be based out of Frankfurt or London and part of an integrated team of 15+ investment professionals spread across Paris, London, Madrid, Frankfurt and Stockholm.
Primary Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Sourcing/screening of opportunities
Assist with the initial screening of investment opportunities.
Contribute to the production of investment documents.
Contribute to the sourcing efforts in DACH countries, through regular contacts with market participants and with potential investment targets.
Deal execution
Be in charge of deals execution
Contribute to the deal strategy and negotiations, together with the senior management.
Lead and own appropriate due diligence workstreams (financial, commercial, legal, etc).
Liaise and work with external advisors whenever necessary.
Portfolio management
Where applicable, act as a board member for investee companies.
Assist investee companies with financial and operating issues.
Monitor the investee companies and work with relevant internal groups to ensure continued financial performance and return on investment, by:
Regularly reviewing financials
Constantly monitoring and evaluating relevant sectors
Potential growth strategies
Improving operating efficiencies
Key Requirements/ Qualifications:
You will have demonstrable experience of:
BA or BSc degree from a leading University, preferably with MBA, CFA, ACA.
Experience of the DACH market.
Extensive experience in infrastructure, either on the investment or advisory/investment banking side.
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English
