Responsibilities

• 
  
• Design and deliver data‑driven IT projects on the Databricks platform.
  
• Hands‑on implementation of Cloud and Data Engineering projects.
  
• Provide best‑practice support for customers and Synvert in the Databricks area.
  
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest features of Databricks.
  
• Recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area.
  
• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers.
  
• Coach practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at Synvert.
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 4+ years of experience in Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy.
  
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and Cloud/Data Engineering projects.
  
• Excellent programming skills (Python, Scala, Java, or other object‑oriented languages).
  
• Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially Databricks.
  
• Expertise in Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, or Performance Optimization on Databricks.
  
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or a similar qualification.
  
• Databricks certifications (Associate or Professional) or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks.
  
• Openness to occasional travel (up to 30%).
  
• Fluent in German and English (speaking & writing).
  
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
