We are a fast-growing Data Platform company specializing in Investment Management and Real Estate. Founded in 2017 by a team of experienced financial technology professionals, ImoGate helps asset managers and investors collect, structure, and analyse their data more efficiently.

Our products SmartGate and ImoAnalytics are shaping the future of data exchange and cross-asset analytics. SmartGate standardizes unstructured data flows, while ImoAnalytics delivers powerful dashboards and insights on top of this golden copy of data.

About the Role:

We are looking for our international team in Munich for a Business Analyst who can turn business ideas into clear specifications, mock-ups, and testable features. You’ll work closely with the CTO, developers, and customer success team to make sure every release delivers measurable value to users.

What you’ll do:

• Translate the roadmap into business requirements and functional specs with clear acceptance criteria.
• Design screen mock-ups and user flows - you’ll be our go-to person for UX structure.
• Write and maintain business documentation: processes, data flows, and feature descriptions.
• Follow the development process end to end; from grooming to testing, ensuring the product matches business intent.
• Prepare and run functional and user acceptance tests (UAT), document results, and support rollout.
• Act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, ensuring shared understanding of user needs.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Functional Consultant in SaaS or data-driven products.
• Solid understanding of data workflows, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience with mock-up / prototyping tools (Figma, Balsamiq, Miro).
• Strong writing skills for clear, structured documentation and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with testing or QA processes (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar).
• Fluent in English; Other languages are a plus.
