We develop modern ERP and BI solutions with a focus on digitalization and business informatics that help companies to efficiently manage and further develop their processes. Our core system is based entirely on PHP/Symfony and forms the technical foundation of our internal and external applications.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced backend/Symfony specialist who will play a key role in driving the further development of our core systems and provide long-term structural and technological impetus. Experience in the DevOps area (e.g. CI/CD, containerization, automation) is a plus. We also welcome knowledge of AI-supported process automation and integrations with tools such as N8N or Make.

We offer flexible working hours, 30 vacation days per year and a fully remote position - with the option to use our co-working space in Wesel at any time.

Areas of responsibility

Your tasks

• Further development and optimization of our PHP/Symfony-based core systems
• Design, implementation and documentation of scalable backend solutions
• Design and maintenance of interfaces to internal and external systems (e.g. REST APIs, database connections)
• Ensuring code quality, stability and performance through reviews, tests and modern architecture principles
• Close collaboration with other backend and data engineering roles as well as product owners
• Technical responsibility for strategic further development of the system architecture

Requirements profile

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in development with PHPand Symfony
• Sound knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and data modeling
• Experience in working with Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of security and performance aspects in complex applications
• Initial experience or interest in the DevOps environment (e.g. infrastructure, monitoring, deployment) an advantage
• Desirable: Knowledge of AI applications and automation with tools such as N8N or Make
• Analytical thinking, structured way of working and the ability to make long-term technical decisions
• Team spirit, strong communication skills and willingness to be partially present in the co-working space in Wesel
• Very good knowledge of German
