We are looking for a Junior Key Account Manager DACH (m/f/d) Main purpose of role:As a Junior Key Account Manager, you will support the management and development of key retail accounts across the DACH region. Working closely with Senior Key Account Managers, you will contribute to achieving sales targets, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring excellent execution at all points of sale.
This role has a strong focus on sales support , analytics, and day-to-day account operations, making it an ideal entry point into Key Account Management.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:- Support the day-to-day management of key accounts in the DACH region
- Prepare customer meetings, presentations, and performance reports
- Assist in the development and execution of Joint Business Plans
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements
- Take over responsibility of smaller accounts to gain first account management experiences
- Analyze sales performance, pricing, margins, and promotional effectiveness
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support decision‑making
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and stock management processes
- Coordinate product listings, launches, and phase‑outs with customers and internal teams
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotions and marketing activities
- Maintain and update customer data, pricing, and product information
- Support the identification of customer needs and growth opportunities
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and retailer activities
- Contribute to optimizing assortment and product positioning (offline & online)
- Act as a point of contact between Sales and internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance)
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of customer requirementsParticipate in customer meetings and occasional business travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar
- First experience in Sales, Account Management, or Sales Support preferred, but we are also open for a recent graduate or someone starting their career in Sales
- Experience in FMCG, retail, or e-commerce is a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of numbers, sales data, and KPIs
- Structured, reliable, and well‑organized working style
- Hands‑on mentality with willingness to learn
- Proactive and eager to develop a career in Sales / Key Account Management
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Able to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
- Fluent in German and English
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
