Our vision is to build a multi-business platform within the world of tennis, combining a range of synergetic activities including the organisation of top-tier ATP, WTA and ITF tournaments in Europe and South America, management & representation of top professional players & young talent, and selected consulting engagements with different industry stakeholders.

Do you have a passion for sport — and ideally tennis? At Tennium we are looking for an experienced, proactive Sales Manager to work with the Sales Director in sales efforts to secure sponsorships for the Hamburg Open.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Ability to perform client prospecting, identify and generate new business opportunities from business leads. Benchmarking of potential clients for our industry and proactive market and industry observation (sponsoring).
  • Must have strong selling and interpersonal skills for sales work in the region as well as nationally in coordination with the Sales Director. Participation in networking events, sporting events and internal events.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Slide writing and presentation skills and creation and development of sales documents.
  • Experience in discussing contracts and commercial clauses with legal support. Preparation of individual offers and partners contracts.
  • Strong relationship management for existing and potential clients.
  • Sales planning and administration skills for commercial planning prior to sales execution.
  • Organizational skills to keep track of sales leads and actionable follow-ups.
  • Deliver management and sales reports in a timely manner.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of sales experience, mainly sponsorships sales, hospitality and corporate sales is a plus.
  • Client Acquisition as know how to express, eager to learn, engage clients and not afraid to connect on the phone.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German.
  • Sports enthusiast, tennis especially.
  • Availability to travel.
