The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Birkenfeld site by partnering with local leadership to deliver transformational initiatives. This position ensures the reliability of business‑critical systems, drives excellence in day‑to‑day IT operations, and upholds IT policy, security, and compliance standards. A strong focus on technology‑enabled continuous improvement and collaboration with broader IT, Corporate, and Cybersecurity teams is central to the role. Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to): * Point of contact for IT-related topics at the Birkenfeld site, working closely with local management * Support of day-to-day IT operations, including handling incidents and service requests * Analysis of end-to-end business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Operations), identification of improvement potential and automation opportunities * Elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and system requirements * Design, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions (e.g., RPA / workflow tools) * Ensuring IT security, compliance, and system stability * Collaboration with Corporate IT, Cybersecurity, and external partners Essential Qualifications / Experience: * At least 3 years of professional experience in IT Operations, Business Analysis, or Infrastructure * Solid knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise applications * Experience in process analysis, engineering requirements, and automation * Good knowledge of Windows environments; Linux knowledge is an advantage * Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities at both business and IT levels * Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style * Willingness to travel up to 10% within Europe What We Offer: * A key role with high visibility at the site * Active involvement in digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives * International collaboration within the Crane Group network * Attractive professional development and career opportunities * A stable, future-oriented industrial environment Grow with Us!
