PositionScientific Researcher / Scientist (m/w/d) – Genetic Testing Services, Erkrath, Germany
Core Responsibilities- Perform technical laboratory activities in support of client studies or procedures.
- Analyze data for quality and completeness, determining whether results meet expectations.
- Record data in compliance with company and regulatory policies and standards.
- Execute scientific testing strategies and studies.
- Participate in the development of assays as part of the team.
- Lead assay research, assay validation, or study conduct; and be involved in material preparation (e.g., protein, nucleic acid, cells).
- Review and interpret study data, communicate results to clients, and write final reports.
- Ensure compliance with protocols and all applicable SOPs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assay or technical issues in the laboratory when scientific expertise is required.
- Contribute to specific dataset interpretation and answer regulatory authority questions when appropriate.
- Four‑year degree in natural sciences or equivalent (B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Ph.D.)
- Immunological or molecular biology expertise, especially PCR and real‑time PCR.
- Highly structured, detail‑oriented, and goal‑oriented work within tight timelines.
- Experience with animal models is desirable.
- Service and customer‑orientation skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and fluency in German and English.
