Job DescriptionThe Social Media Manager will develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness, create compelling content, manage social media platforms, and optimize performance through data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with legal standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement a Social Media Strategy to Increase Engagement and Awareness: Identify and execute tactics to grow the company’s social media presence, enhance brand recognition, and build stronger connections with the audience.
- Create Engaging and Relevant Content: Produce posts, articles, images, videos, and infographics that resonate with the target audience and drive higher engagement.
- Plan and Maintain a Content Calendar: Ensure consistent posting and alignment with broader marketing campaigns to keep the audience engaged and informed.
- Plan, Execute, and Manage Paid Social Media Campaigns: Support product launches, events, and other marketing initiatives with targeted campaigns designed to boost engagement and brand visibility.
- Work Closely with Global Marketing and Corporate Communications: Ensure alignment and support overall business objectives while maximizing social media’s role in increasing engagement and awareness.
- Manage the Company’s Presence on Various Social Media Platforms: Oversee LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc., to maintain a strong and consistent brand presence.
- Monitor, Analyze, and Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track metrics related to engagement, reach, and brand awareness, using insights to refine strategies.
- Use Analytics Insights to Refine and Improve Strategies: Continuously optimize social media strategies and campaigns to enhance engagement and increase brand awareness and share learnings with the Global Marketing Team.
- Ensure Compliance with Legal and Regulatory Requirements: Make sure all social media activities comply with privacy laws, advertising standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Support and Coordinate Agencies: Work closely with external partners to deliver effective social media campaigns and content.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience in social media management, preferably within a B2B environment or industrial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), their features, and best practices.
- A creative streak, passionate about storytelling.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual content creation skills to produce engaging posts, articles, images, and videos.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track performance and derive insights.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, content creation software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills for interacting with followers, handling inquiries, and managing community engagement. The Dutch language is an advantage.
