LEVEL UP AND START A NEW ADVENTURE!At Altagram, we are seeking a talented part-time Junior Localization Engineer to join our APAC team. In this role, you will support the project management team by analyzing and preparing localization kits. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and use industry-standard tools such as memoQ and Plunet, all while working remotely within the APAC time zone. 
YOUR ROLE 

• Conduct thorough analysis and preparation of diverse source files and formats to optimize localization project workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, assisting with repetitive and specialized tasks to increase efficiency.
• Participate in internal calls to support localization engineers and project managers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Provide comprehensive support to the team in using tools and resolving technical challenges.

Your profile

• Experience in localization processes or localization engineering.
• General knowledge of localization tools; experience with memoQ is an advantage for ensuring efficient project execution.
• A solid grasp of regular expressions is essential for this role, facilitating precise text manipulation and localization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• A proactive and independent mindset, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions autonomously.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in localization.
• Familiarity with standard software, particularly MS Office, with a focus on Excel for data management and analysis.
• Familiarity with the principles of internationalization and globalization, enhancing the ability to work in diverse markets.
