Your mission

Banxware is seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. You’ll work closely with experienced data engineers on real production systems, supporting the design, build, and optimization of data pipelines that power business and product decisions. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines usingFivetrananddbt
• Support andoptimizeourSnowflake data warehouse
• Help ensuredata quality, reliability, and documentationby applying data engineering best practices
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to understand data requirements
• Assistin troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline or data quality issues
• Support analytics use cases, including enabling dashboards and reporting for business teams

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field(or equivalent practical experience)
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Basic knowledge of Python for data processing or scripting
• Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL / ELT workflows
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Metabase or Tableau is a plus
