Coherent in Mainz has been part of the global Coherent Group since November 2016.
Founded in 1994 as DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH the company quickly established itself as an important manufacturer of high-power diode lasers. The two sites in Mainz and Freiburg develop and produce both high-power diode laser components and systems with a wide range of outputs and wavelengths. The Coherent Group now has eight further sites in Germany.

Tasks

• System responsibility and support for the coating systems
• Production responsibility for coating all components on the coating system
• Support for other production systems in the wafer fab/lithography area
• Creation of work instructions maintenance documents and contact with service providers
• Development of preventive maintenance in particular the development of spare parts management.

Profile

• Completed training as a precision mechanic also as a technician
• Knowledge of semiconductor process technology or the manufacture of optical or photonic components
• Knowledge of coating techniques and systems as well as vacuum technology
• Previous knowledge of SPS programming
• Experience in system maintenance
• Solution-oriented conceptual and structured working style
• Good team player
• Quality awareness and analytical thinking.
