We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior System Engineer (M/W/D) for Google Built-In to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry.

🔎 Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and delivery of cutting-edge smart cockpit solutions for current and next-generation of vehicles.
• Evaluate and document the implications of adopting Google Built-In solutions.
• Identify technical gaps, risks, and dependencies related to migration, covering hardware, software, and integration aspects.
• Conduct detailed analyses of Google Automotive Services (GAS) requirements, compliance obligations, and certification processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, system architects, hardware engineers, validation teams, suppliers, and Google) to support feasibility studies and migration strategies.
• Recommend architectural adjustments to integrate Google Built-In while preserving OEM-specific customizations and brand identity.
• Contribute to system-level design, performance benchmarking, and feature validation during evaluation and rollout phases.
• Stay informed on Android Automotive OS and Google Built-In roadmap developments to anticipate impacts on product planning.
• Perform benchmarking activities, analyze market and technology trends, and present findings to leadership.
• Support the definition of technology and platform roadmaps and strategic direction.
• Manage and coordinate technology partners, external suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide regular status updates to management and program teams.
• Define system-level attributes and sign-off criteria to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Establish test and validation activities and lead the development of test methods and standards.
• Analyze, prioritize, and resolve issues internally and with suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with regional requirements and regulations (e.g., Europe, North America).

✨Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) infotainment development and deployment.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Automotive Services (GAS) and the Google Built-In ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of Android system architecture (HALs, BSPs, middleware, frameworks, application layer).
• Experience in system integration, debugging, and performance optimization for automotive infotainment platforms.
• Familiarity with certification and compliance processes for Google Built-In.
• Ability to analyze and clearly communicate complex technical implications to both engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience managing external partners and suppliers.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven, customer-focused, and proactive mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers, partners, customer facilities, or for test drive activities.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driving license.
