As part of our continued growth in Germany, eXcent is seeking a Technical Project Manager who has experience within Aerospace and/or Tooling in Industry to join our team in Hamburg. In this role, you will contribute to the development and diversification of our subsidiary’s activities, serving as the main technical and commercial point of contact for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer requirements and provide technical and economic responses to specifications.
  • Estimate project costs and prepare technical and financial proposals.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, preliminary designs, and concept research.
  • Define and validate technical guidelines in collaboration with the customer.
  • Carry out detailed design work using CAD software, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Prepare and communicate all necessary data for production phases, both internally and with subcontractors.
  • Identify and report project deviations, maintaining KPIs and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage projects through all phases: design, production, development, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Validate customer and supplier inspection reports and ensure the completeness of deliverables.
  • Oversee manufacturing progress, ensuring effective communication and alignment with the customer.
  • Report regularly to management on project status, schedules, and KPIs.
  • Maintain and strengthen technical and commercial relationships with clients.


Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience of Aerospace or Tooling is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical systems design.
  • Proven experience in tooling project design and coordination, including supplier management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, and a proactive, dynamic approach.
