Senior Associate M&A (m/w/d)

Here's what you can achieve with us
  • You support the execution of asset-level transactions, including project sales, capital rotations and capital raises

  • You develop and maintain detailed financial models for development-stage solar PV and solar + BESS assets, providing the foundation for investment decisions

  • You prepare marketing and transaction materials, such as teasers, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and sell-side financial models

  • You assist with buyer outreach, track investor engagement, and support negotiations with counterparties to achieve optimal outcomes

  • You coordinate due diligence processes across technical, legal, and financial workstreams in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

  • You monitor market and industry developments across key geographies and provide actionable insights to internal teams

  • You work closely with finance, legal, and development teams to ensure that projects and portfolios are transaction-ready

  • You support pipeline valuations and portfolio-level reporting for senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making

What you bring to the table
  • You have 2–5 years of relevant transaction experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment analysis - ideally within the renewable energy, infrastructure, or solar PV sector

  • Your background includes experience in an investment bank, advisory firm, or top-tier consultancy (typically 2–3 years), or in a developer, IPP, or infrastructure investor with direct deal exposure

  • You bring strong analytical skills and are confident in financial modeling, valuation, and quantitative analysis

  • You work confidently with Excel and PowerPoint and have a keen eye for accuracy and detail

  • You are organized, self-driven and proactive, take ownership of your work, and maintain a structured approach even in a dynamic international environment

  • You enjoy working independently and collaboratively, with a genuine can-do attitude and the drive to make things happen

  • You communicate clearly, precisely, and professionally - fluency in English is essential; German is a plus

  • Occasional travel may be required
