Job Title: Senior Sales Account Manager

Location: Germany | Remote and open to location in Germany

Reporting To: Sales Director – EMEA (Based in the UK)


Our client:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join a fast-paced beauty brand from the US, renowned for its aggressive expansion across EMEIA. Based remotely in Germany, this role is pivotal in supporting our growth not only locally but also into other parts of the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, driving sales performance, and contributing to our market expansion strategies. Fluency in German and English is essential, with additional language skills in Dutch or Italian considered a significant advantage. The role involves frequent travel to the UK and throughout the local region, necessitating excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a proactive leader, well-versed in navigating the complexities of diverse markets and capable of thriving in a fast-evolving business environment. Responsibilities

  1. Client Management and Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in Germany and, eventually, other parts of EMEA, to ensure client satisfaction and expand business opportunities.
  2. Market Expansion Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for entering new markets within the EMEA region.
  3. Travel and Networking: Travel regularly within the local region and to the UK (approximately once per month) to meet with clients and attend industry events, enhancing client relationships and business opportunities.
  4. Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  6. Team Coordination: Collaborate with the sales team to share insights, strategies, and updates to enhance team performance and achieve collective goals.
  7. Training and Development: Lead and support training initiatives to ensure the sales team is equipped with up-to-date industry knowledge and sales techniques.
  8. Reporting: Regularly report to the Sales Director – EMEA on sales progress, client feedback, market trends, and team performance.


Candidate Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English is essential; additional languages such as Dutch or Italian are advantageous.
  • Professional Experience: Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the designated region or a similar market.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage client relationships and internal collaborations.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region and to the UK as required.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of diverse business practices and cultural sensitivities within EMEA.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze sales data and performance metrics.
  • Leadership Qualities: Capability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
