As part of its continued growth strategy, Sinoboom is now looking to strengthen its customer-facing team with the appointment of a Regional Manager for the DACH area, who will be responsible for delivering profitable revenue growth and the highest levels of customer support.


Role:

  • You will be the main interface with key account customers and our distribution partners, to provide ongoing support whilst ensuring that we provide comprehensive after-sales service within the region.
  • You will drive profitable revenue growth and market share through planning, and execution as part of the Senior Management Team.
  • You will collect and report market intelligence and competitive analysis from your region and keep the business fully informed of market trends and customer requirements.
  • You will develop sales, marketing, and product support strategies to support market share growth and commercial objectives within the region.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain close and strong personal relationships at every level with key accounts.
  • Design and contribute to sales and marketing strategies and programs.
  • Develop training for new staff and distribution sales partners.
  • Oversee the sales activities of the organization's products/services.
  • Work with the vendor finance team to develop financial solutions to drive volume growth.
  • Regularly review sales targets with the sales teams and distribution partners and develop recovery plans to ensure performance to objectives.
  • Oversee and optimize after-sales services within the territory.
  • Identify additional dealers and service partners where necessary and be part of their onboarding.
  • Manage and direct the sales force for the achievement of sales goals within the assigned territory.
  • Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential.


Experience and Qualifications

  • A strong leadership skill demonstrated experience in developing AND executing successful commercial strategies.
  • A strong strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Financially astute, with a flair for creating unique sales proposals.
  • Outstanding sales management skills, strong negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to be hands-on as well as strategic.
  • Knowledge of the MEWP and Rental sectors.
  • Degree educated or relevant industry experience.


Key attributes:

  • A strong commercial background involving marketing, direct sales, sales and channel management, contract negotiation, development of pricing strategies, and key account management.
  • A proven record of growing profitable revenue growth and market share.
  • A passion for new products.
  • An established network within the territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully launch new products and build profitable revenue streams.
  • The ability to identify new product opportunities and work with customers to position Sinoboom as their partner of choice.
  • A team player able to work well with the technical team to prioritize projects and accelerate time to market for new products.
  • A self-starter who can work remotely whilst being part of a wider global business.
  • Fluent in English and German.
