We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Trustee & Depository Controller to join our Trustee & Depository Germany team. This role is located in Germany.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Regulatory controls of payment in Mutual Funds and Special Funds

Regulatory controls and execution of Subscriptions and Redemption

Investment Compliance regulatory controls

Calculating and delivery of the Trustee & Depository fees.

Processing of fund events

Reconciliation tasks between Transfer Agent Luxembourg and Custodian Frankfurt

Client communication and transaction management

Interaction with other BNYM Departments (local and international)

Actively analyses processes, and in conjunction with the other parties involved, works to improve process, making them as efficient as possible.

Monitors area for risk and minimizes potential loss and exposure.

Participate in special projects as required.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bank or business education ideally with specialization and experience in Fund Business in Germany

Proven experience with standard Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and Word, Power Point)

Self-Driven and responsible person to fully complete assigned tasks.

Eager to attain the knowledge of relevant products and business process.

Good communicator and Team playing spirit is a must.

Open minded approach to understand Fund Business related process to be able to understand how your job will impact clients and other departments of the company.

Frame of mind focused on productivity; willingness to take more duties, expand team.

German and English fluent in speaking and writing.
