    The Employee Labor Relations (ELR) Specialist will provide HR operational support to managers and employees of CWT whilst undertaking a variety of HR administration duties and assisting in project work and help to deliver the People Strategy for CWT. 

    He/She will assist with HR administration, producing accurate and complete employee documents such as Contracts of Employment, Work Certificates etc. Liaise closely with the payroll department to ensure people are paid correctly and in a timely manner. Maintain and use the HR Data bases to ensure employee data is correct and produce data reports where necessary. Provide an Employee Relations service by offering advice and support in CWT Employee processes and policies. 

    Main Responsibilities

  • Working with the ELR leader, ensure CWT policies are maintained and updated in accordance with employment law and best practices. Help to communicate all changes to managers and employees
  • Advise managers and employees on employment related matters and explain policies and procedures where needed
  • Support ELR leader with the maintenance of country benefit details. Help to provide information to our wider HR community (HRBPs, COEs) on benefit and compensation enquiries, new hire benefits and relevant leave administration.
  • Help to prepare job descriptions, assist in on boarding process for our new colleagues
  • Provide information to our wider HR Community on benefit and compensation enquries
  • Help maintain attendance registers
  • Assist in any misconduct or grievance cases and prepare appropriate paperwork where needed
  • Assist ELR Leader on all topics related to Works Council and assist in the preparation of WC meetings and agendas
  • Qualifications

    Experience & education:

    Experience

  • 2 years experience in an HR environment
  • HR Certifications preferred
  • Diploma in Human Resources / Social Relations / Social Law
  • Significant experience in labor relation management and company negotiation
  • Solid knowledge of Belgium social legislation
  • Knowledge of payroll administration would be an advantage
  • Languages

  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Dutch language skills woudl also be beneifcial
  • Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)
