Business Acquisition Manager, Online Sales (Swedish Market) - EU Headquarters<p> <strong>This position is based in our EU Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.</strong><br /> <br /> The area: Online Sales and Operations, Online Sales Group<br /> <br /> The Online Sales Group (OSG) team keeps Google growing and profitable. We are dedicated to supporting the company&#39;s expanding base of advertisers, publishers and users in more than 40 languages on a global basis, and providing them with the highest levels of service. We are responsible for supporting customers and generating revenue from a broad range of products such as AdWords, AdSense, Gmail and Google Earth. This means that OSG team members need to be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible - and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.<br /> <br /> The role: Business Acquisition Manager, Online Sales (Swedish Market)<br /> <br /> Please note that all applicants must be authorized to work in the Republic of Ireland.<br /> <br /> As a Business Acquisition Manager, you provide the highest level of sales to our advertisers within a specific industry such as Retail, Technology, Finance, Travel, Local, Entertainment and Media. You&rsquo;ll sell Google&rsquo;s AdWords, the leading text-based advertising platform in Europe as well as Google Display solutions to prospective medium-to-large size companies. You will work closely with a dedicated account management team who execute a well thought-out campaign that provides advertisers with measurable return on investment. You will identify potential large advertisers, pitch to them over the phone and meet with them face to face to promote our products.<br /> <br /> You will potentially have the opportunity to participate in the Online Media Associate Program (OMAP), which is for recent and experienced graduates. This 2.5 year career development program provides an insight into online business, advertising and new technologies. The program offers an introduction to managing business operations with some of the most innovative products on the market. It is designed to help Googlers develop the professional and job-specific skills needed for their initial and future roles. Online Media Associates will be part of a lively, accommodating and collegial team environment.<br /> <br /> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> Prospect new potential advertisers via various strategic initiatives such as cross-departmental collaboration with marketing, networking, tradeshows and online research.</li> <li> Secure new AdWords clients by presenting search marketing solutions, and create relevant ad campaigns that maximise their ROI.</li> <li> Approach prospects with tailored presentations, industry data to set campaign targets aligned with account management team. Client meetings will be performed over the phone and face to face when needed.</li> <li> Develop sales pitch strategies that optimise the market potential.</li> <li> Organize seminars and identify relevant speaker opportunities and trade shows in local markets.</li> </ul> <p> <br /> <strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li> BA or BSc degree preferred with a strong academic record.</li> <li> Relevant online or offline sales experience.</li> <li> Extremely proactive, organised, responsible, and proven ability to work well with a team.</li> <li> Availability for regular travel to local market.</li> <li> Fluency in English and Swedish.</li> </ul>
